Q: What does an REO mean?
A: An REO is an acronym for ‘Real Estate Owned’

Q: Why is it beneficial for me to buy an REO?
A: Because most of the properties are priced to sell ! The banks do not want them on their books long so they are typically priced below current market value. Also these homes are sold ‘as is’ which makes a great opportunity for ‘value add’ and to buy the property in its present state, fix it up and either hold or sell it.

Q: I have been trying to buy an REO and there are multiple offers and I can’t seem to get mine accepted, why?
A: You need to work with an REO specialist. The REO buying process is MUCH DIFFERENT than buying a regular home. It takes a specialist to guide you, negotiate for you and get your offer accepted.
